A “Real” Housewives’ Wedding

Thanks to our new DVR, I was able to record the season finale of one of my favorite shows, the Real Housewives of Orange County. I had missed it when it aired earlier in the week and had forgotten to tape it, but Bravo replayed it this weekend. When we went to see Atonement, I set it to record. Lauri, one of the “housewives,” got engaged at the end of last season, … Continue reading

“My Husband Thinks I’m Fat” – A “Real” Housewives Confession

It’s a revelation every married woman fears: a husband who’s no longer physically attracted to her. So much so that he wants out of the marriage entirely. That’s what Jeana Keough, one of the stars of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Orange County, admitted to her friend Tammy on a recent episode. The Real Housewives, however, is a reality show following the lives of real women. The show’s name is sort of a misnomer, though. Some of the “housewives” don’t stay home at all. They not only work but are incredibly successful. In fact, if I’m not mistaken, two of them –Jeana and Vicki– own their … Continue reading
