It seems that the memorable Oprah moments just never end! Here are a few more: Oprah’s Tearful Moment Oh sure, Oprah has shed more than one tear over the years, but when she hosted author Truddi Chase, she really broke down. Chase wrote “When Rabbit Howls,” a memoir of her tragic childhood in which she was raped by her stepfather. Oprah broke into tears when introducing Chase and asked the cameraman to stop filming her. Oprah too was a victim of sexual abuse, having been raped at the age of nine and giving birth to a son who died in … Continue reading

You have probably heard that Britney Spears and husband Kevin Federline are ending their marriage. You may have also heard rumors of blackmail and extortion against Spears by the father of her children. Was this just a publicity stunt by the would-be rapper who has … Continue reading

They Have Divorced How Many Times?

It is well known that divorce is more common now than in generations past. It is not unusual for there to be quite a few branches growing out of parts of our family tree where our relatives have divorced and then later remarried. Sometimes, though, it may get a bit tricky to fit all of this information onto a pedigree chart if, for example, a person marries and has a few children, divorces, remarries someone who also has children, divorces them, and goes on to divorce and remarry a few more times. If you think that such things do not … Continue reading

Parenting – The Hardest Job Out

Parenting is one of the hardest jobs out. These days it is made even harder by so many marriages breaking up and ending in divorce and re-marriages that create blended families. The other reason parenting is hard these days is because there are more cases of both parents working outside the home. That need or perceived need for both parents to work leads to many problems, some of which Andrea touches on her blog. It leads to bored children and teenagers, with too much time on their hands and lack of supervision. Another factor is that parents have either by … Continue reading
