Dog Person versus a Cat Person
by Heather Long | More from this Blogger
Happy Sunday everyone and welcome to my 1,000 blog here at Families.com. It's been a real pleasure and a privilege to write and share my thoughts and ideas with you. For my 1,000 post, I wanted to talk about something fun -- so here it is. Dog person versus cat person -- which one are you?
Though comedians and sitcoms often lampoon it, but the differences between many people can be boiled down to whether they are a dog person or a cat person. These differences can make or break a relationship, or so many of our comedians suggest.
The canine person is considered:
- Loyal
- Direct
- Kind
- Faithful
- Utilitarian
- Helpful
- Team Player
The feline person is considered:
- Graceful
- Subtle
- Independent
- Intelligent
- Thoughtful
- Mysterious
A cat person is an introvert and a dog person is an extrovert. A cat person enjoys reading, watching movies and listening to music. A dog person likes sports, adventuring and enjoying the out doors. Cat people are home bodies and dog people are outdoorsy and always on the go.
Cat people enjoy a very small, select group of friends. Dog people have a large circle of people they consider themselves close to. Cat people prefer to not brag, letting their actions be noticed for themselves. Dog people love to boast and brag in order to garner attention.
Can dog people and cat people get along? Sure they can. You just have to remember, that not all cats and dogs chase each other - but then again - they don't all get along either.
So which are you and your spouse? Cat person or dog person?
